SoCal Kings League is an independent soccer tournament held in San Diego. We are big fans of the Kings League format — the pace, the secret weapons, the shootout tiebreakers — and we wanted to bring that same energy to San Diego kids, teens, and adults for one weekend.
SoCal Kings League is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Kings League, Kosmos, or any of its clubs, players, or partners. We are simply fans of the format who wanted to run a tournament inspired by its rules. All Kings League trademarks and logos are property of their respective owners.
The 7v7 format keeps every player involved. Two 20-minute halves keep games sharp. Secret weapons and the 1v1 shootout tiebreaker turn every match into an event. More touches, more goals, and more fun than a traditional 11v11 tournament — for every age group.
Ages 10–12, Ages 13–15, and Ages 16–18 each have their own 12-team tournament — all playing the same weekend on the same 4 fields. Every age group runs its own group stage and knockout bracket, so every team plays teams their own age.
SoCal Kings League is organized by a small group of San Diego parents and coaches. Entry fees cover fields, insurance, referees, and equipment. Any surplus goes to youth soccer scholarships in San Diego County.
